rooms, Sunday status
Study room: 100% packed and dejunked, now a staging room for the rest of
the house. (packed boxes are being stored here)
Guest room: packed and dejunked, carpet and closet pack removed for new
carpeting. (closet pack goes back in)
Woodshop: dejunked, 90% packed. Still need to deal with large
(unpackable) items, then the shop will be empty and ready for painting.
Office: 65% packed, even went through a majority of the filing cabinets.
Monday and Tuesday should see the carpet estimate (and hopefully
installation), Tamara has her followup dental appointment, and we have
travel medicine appointments.
Next big things:
- Tamara will continue painting the entryway, downstairs hall, and woodshop. (still need paint for the new french doors)
- Ted will keep packing and dejunking.
- Once carpet is scheduled, we'll schedule the construction dumpster for pickup. It'd be nice to put the car in the driveway, at least :-)
- Once the end is in sight for carpet, paint, and packing, we'll schedule the moving truck. Quite likely we'll be *ready* by the end of the week (16th), but we will probably wait until early the following week, depending on a million things.
- Wandering geek kit should come together- the miniature laptop will get here, I can start packing that kit together.
- Still waiting on the Happy Trails racks. They are supposed to be done next week.
I'm still on withdrawals from an antidepressant. One weird symptom has
passed, but now I'm into the next phase. I suppose that's progress, yeah?
