We took pictures at the crossing of the equator in two different places. The first was on the PanAm highway, when the GPS indicated we were at the equator.
The second was the Mitad del Mundo monument. (roughly, "Center of the World"). Unfortuantely, they didn't build it right on the equator, but off by a bit. Still, it's the official monument.
